Rockport

Rockport MA is an artist colony and home of Motif #1, the infamous fisherman's shack that claims itself as the "the most often-painted building in America." What we see today is a replica built in 1978, the same year is had been destroyed by the Blizzard of 1978. The blizzard dumped 42" of snow on Rockport and destroyed original which had been built in 1840.
