“Let me out”
Looking for a 2024 Halloween image? I had some time and went over to the Saugus Iron works for some early fall foliage. Got a few shots and was touring the historic landmark, its claim to fame is the first integrated iron works in North America having operated between 1646 and 1670. As an FYI, an integrated iron works has all the equipment including high temperature furnaces, to combine the iron ore and coke components to make a primitive form of iron called pig iron.
Our friend here is a Halloween decoration I found at the facility and is one creepy looking former human. It had “take my picture” all over it. Shot was taken at 1/100 sec, f11 and ISO 100. Time was right after lunch but despite the almost direct sun the shot is carrying some great detail in the fence.
