"3 Zones of Fall color"
We have been on a roll with fall shots, but it all started here. The first shoot was at Saugus Iron Works which is local to me. What everyone likes about images like this one is they project a mood or feel without the detail a good camera can capture. Like Monet’s impressionism, the soft focus and lack of defined detail makes the image.
Rather than seeing water, grass and trees we see color. Hence the name of the shot; 3 Zones of Fall color. Fall’s color is vibrant and in contrast to the upcoming cold and sometimes nasty winter weather, the fall feels warm and comfortable. Photography today allows someone who can’t draw or paint to have a canvas of creativity. That said seeing the potential, capturing the image, composition and using the lighting, combined with creative post- processing; is what changes a snapshot into a photograph.
